H & R Schwarz is a supplier to the food industry of ingredients, equipment, cutlery and consultancy services.

Established in 1934, H & R Schwarz was originally a manufacturer of butchers' uniforms. Over 66 years the company added various spices and seasonings and curing agents to its product range to become a general supplier to Butchers and Smallgoods Manufacturers.

In 1958 H & R Schwarz was sold to the Gordon family and flourished as a major supplier to Butchers and Smallgoods Manufacturers. New style products such as sausage premixes, battermixes and marinades were successfully introduced into the market whilst the general product range was expanded to include a complete range of packaging and food processing equipment.

Today, Schwarz continues as a family company operated by the second generation. Whilst retaining the core range of products, the company has further expanded to supply the poultry and seafood industries as well as general food producers and catering companies. Schwarz also offers consultancy services and contract blending facilities.

In the 21st century, H & R Schwarz looks to opportunities throughout Australia and internationally, expanding the product range and services to companies in the food industry.
